About Andrew Phelps
Andrew Phelps is a WBUR reporter and the host of Hubbub, a new blog about Boston.

How many public radio stations in the United States have something like iReport? Now is now, people. Our users will abandon us as irrelevant if we don’t get going.
Interesting. Tyson Wheatley of iReport says users OWN their own content, e.g., can submit it or sell it to any other journalism outlet. But CNN and its affiliates retain the right to use it when and how they see fit.
iReport doesn’t allow text submissions. Telling.
Tyson says we don’t ever want to rush things to the air. We have to be careful. I don’t totally believe that.
RT @stacybond: Wheatly: “Often an iReporter is the first to report on an item.” That’s a typical news cycle gone digital – tipsters, loc paper, etc.#ima09
Corey Lewis (@wbur) asks: When it is unfiltered in iReport, anyone can see it (Scary, right?) before it’s edited. How closely tied is the iReport and CNN brand?
