    Innocent:Albert Owens
    Innocent:Tsai-Shai Yang
    Innocent:Yen-I Yang
    Innocent:Yee Chen Lin
Sadly, I had to look up these names. I could not name them off the top of my head. We should remember these people more than Mr. Williams.

Good point, Joe. We should also remember the countless victims of drive-by shootings and other gang violence. Williams had a lot of blood on his hands.
I’ve got mixed feelings about the death penalty. However, I have no doubt Tookie was guilty and I resent attempts to portray him as an innocent man in order to fight the death penalty.
This effort would have been better spent asking California voters to abolish the death penalty, rather than sanitizing the reputation of a notorious gangster. All of the hoopla to “Save Tookie” has only galvanized those in favor of the death penalty.
And as I remember, this type of celebrity-infused protest didn’t occur before serial killer William Bonin was put to death. Perhaps he should’ve written a book warning children off of serial killing! He certainly showed as little remorse for his crimes as did Tookie.
