I have donated money to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Katrina, but money feels inadequate. Therefore I have signed up for training in Shelter Operations to become a volunteer. My class is Wednesday night in San Diego. I have the option of deployment to the Gulf Coast, which I will likely accept.
