Pieces of Autumn

@andrewphelps: Pieces of Autumn

New skin today.
I really don’t like Halloween, and I hate the time of year it brings, but I do love the decorations and colors of October and November. Here are some images of the things that must come down the day after all hallows.

    dude, halloween decorations are the best! i don’t quite understand what’s not to like about the holiday, though (strangers giving you candy, dressing up all crazy and wandering the streets at night with all your buddies — does it GET any better??!!) and ya know, i think i like halloween even more now that i am older and get to see all the adorable little kids who come to the door to trick or treat. you don’t notice them so much when you are one. ; ) and after all the fun is over, you have the satisfaction of knowing that Thanksgiving is just around the corner! ahhhh… : )
    Happy Fall, everybody! : )

    celebrate dia de los muertos instead of halloween
    it’s a holiday that isn’t endorsed by the mars corporation or hershey’s

    no… celebrate festivus…
    its the one holiday where it always ends with a feets of strength match!
    but i celebrated hallow’s eve and it was a little disapointing. i laughed harder than ever but i felt like i was letting myself down. my first halloween as an adult, and i was out trick or trating as a duck. is that right?…
    who cares really… (i was with fun people)

    Tonight, was the first rain here at Santa Cruz, and every year on first rain, there is a naked run around the campus. There’s nothing quite like running through a quad in the pouring rain in the middle of the night with a group of 200 naked people all singing “Ole” by the bouncing souls while hundreds more clothed people urge you on with their primal chant of “Naked, naked, naked!” I can’t wait until next year.
